Justin Bieber's Latin GRAMMY Award Was Mailed to the Wrong Person

Justin Bieber is missing his Latin GRAMMY -- and so is producer Carlos Escalona Cruz.

The two both won awards at the Latin GRAMMYs in November (Bieber for his "Despacito" remix with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, and Cruz for Marc Anthony's "Babies"), though it seems they may have been sent each other's trophies.

Cruz took to Instagram on Monday to show off Bieber's statuette, with his name and category, Best Urban Fusion/Performance 2017, etched on the front.

“This is the funniest way to start #2018,” Cruz captioned a slideshow. “I was expecting a #Grammy for @marcanthony for babies and I received @justinbieber Grammy for #despacito remix with @luisfonsi and @daddyyankee instead.”

The producer joked that Bieber must have gotten his GRAMMY in the switchup, tagging him a series of memes asking him to give it back.

Meanwhile, Bieber was absent from the 60th Annual GRAMMYs on Sunday, where Fonsi and Daddy Yankee
performed "Despacito."
